The madness ended early for the University at Buffalo women's basketball team Monday, as the Bulls lost to Toledo in the first round of the Mid-American Conference tournament, 53-50, in Cleveland.

The Bulls trailed 27-27 at halftime before tying the game with 1:47 left. The Rockets put it away with a three-pointer :30 later. Heather Turner scored 16 points and added 10 rebounds for UB, and Jamie Schiebner added 10 and 12. The Bulls finish the season at 15-15.

The 12th-seeded UB Men get MAC Tourney play started Wednesday when they take on #5 Miami in a first round game in Cleveland.
