Ashley Drzymala smashed 20 kills while three other Wildcats posted double-digit kills to power #1 Daemen past #4 LIU Post in the semifinals of the East Coach Conference Volleyball Tournament 25-22, 33-31, 17-25, 27-25 on Friday night.
With the win, the Wildcats advance to face the winner of NYIT and Bridgeport in Saturday's conference championship on Saturday. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on the campus of Daemen College.
If Daemen wins on Saturday they'll earn an automatic berth in the NCAA DII National Tournament. If they lose, they'll have to wait until Monday to see if they earn and at large bid in the tournament.
