BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - A source close to University at Buffalo athletics tells Eyewitness Sports Anchor Shawn Stepner that Felisha Legette-Jack has been hired as the Bulls new head women's basketball coach. UB has called a press conference for tomorrow morning to introduce Legette-Jack.

The 45-year-old Syracuse native has spent the past six seasons as the head coach at Indiana University. She took the Hoosiers to the WNIT in each of her first three seasons in Bloomington. She was fired after going 6-24 during the 2011-12 campaign. Before IU she was the head coach at Hofstra, where she compiled a 54-63 record over four seasons and qualified for the WNIT in 2005-06.

Legette-Jack played for Syracuse University in the late 1980's. She replaces Linda Hill-MacDonald as Bulls head coach. Hill-MacDonald was let go after seven seasons in Amherst.
