Indianapolis - (WKBW News) The Duke Blue Devils are National Champions for the fourth time in school history after holding off Butler 61-59 at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday. Kyle Singler scored 19 points for Duke, who snapped Butlers 25 game winning streak with the victory.

The Bulldogs had a chance to win it in the final seconds of regulation. Off a missed Duke free-throw Butler's Gordon Hayward threw up a half-court prayer that banked off the backboard and off the rim before bouncing out.

Duke has now won four National Championships under head coach Mike Krzyzewski, tying Coach K for second place all time with Adolph Rupp.

Butler finishes the season at 35-5.
