Montreal (WKBW.com) New defenseman Christian Ehrhoff had a goal and an assist and Ryan Miller made 11 saves as the Buffalo Sabres beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Jason Pominville opened the scoring in the first period. Tyler Ennis added an empty net goal. Jhonas Enroth had 12 saves after spelling Miller in the second period. The Sabres improved to 2-and-0 on the preseason with the victory. The team heads to Toronto on Friday.
