BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Sabres forward Jason Pominville worked out Tuesday for the first time since suffering a concussion after being hit from behind by Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson last Monday.
Pominville has been cleared to exercise by team doctors and will accompany the team to Atlanta for their match-up Wednesday against the Thrashers.
Pominville, who spoke to the media for the first time since the injury, says he is confident he may return to full practice fairly soon.
