    Despite hitting three home runs, the Bisons lost in Pawtucket Monday afternoon, 6-5, in ten innings. After tying the Paw Sox in the top of the ninth, Reid Santos gave up a walk-off single in the bottom of the tenth as the Herd lost for the sixth time in their last seven games.

    The Buffalo Bisons lost their fourth straight game to the Charlotte Knights on Tuesday. The Herd fell to Charlotte 4-3. The Bisons (26-49) rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh as Michel Abreu scored on a fielder's choice.

  • Bisons Fall To Toledo In Home Opener

    The Buffalo Bisons returned home Friday night for their first home game of the 2008 season. On the radar, it looked like they were going to run smack dab into some wet weather. And while the rains came before and during the Home Opener, they couldn't damper the mood of 11,283 fans excited for the return of baseball. However, the rains also couldn't cool the red-hot bats of the Toledo Mud Hens.

    The Buffalo Bisons lost to the Durham Bulls Saturday 10-2. The game went scoreless into the top of the fourth inning, when Rene Rivera hit a two-run home run.

    A fantastic pitching duel between Buffalo's Jason Stanford and Rochester's Francisco Liriano lived up to its billing, but the Wings had a little more offense to collect the 3-2 victory from Frontier Field.
