BUFFALO, NY (Bisons Release) - The New York Mets today announced that Buffalo Bisons RHP CHRIS SCHWINDEN will start for the Mets on Friday night against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.
Schwinden went 2-2 with a 2.05ERA in four starts with the Bisons this season (22.0IP, 14H, 9BB, 13K). His ERA is the seventh lowest in the International League.
In his last start, Schwinden threw a six-inning complete game in a 1-0 loss to the Syracuse Chiefs in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday. In that outing, he allowed just three hits and no walks while striking out four.
