The Bisons welcomed 17,380 into Coca-Cola Field for the Independence Day Eve Celebration. They witnessed the Herd losing their fifth straight game. Buffalo fell by the score of 6-2 to Rochester.

Oliver Perez made his final rehab start for the Bisons. His line: five innings, five hits, three earned-runs, four walks and four strike-outs.

The Bisons took the early 1-0 lead in the third inning when Robinson Cancel scored from third base on a Corey Sullivan grounder.

Matt Macri tied it when he took the first pitch of the fifth inning over the fence. Rochester went onto score two runs in the sixth, one in the eighth, and two more in the ninth.

Buffalo will open a three-game series in Rochester on Saturday at 7:05pm. They return home on Tuesday to host Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
