Bisons Earn Split Against Clippers

July 8, 2010 Updated Jul 8, 2010 at 3:28 PM EDT

For the third time in their last four series, the Buffalo Bisons earned a split. The Herd beat the Columbus Clippers Sunday 5-3 as the two teams split the four-game set at Coca-Cola Field.

Jordan Brown homered twice for the Clippers. But Javier Valentin's RBI single in the bottom of the sixth, in addition to two unearned runs in the bottom of the seventh, were the difference.

The Bisons open up a four-game home series against Lehigh Valley on Monday at 2:05pm.
