Bisons Drop 2nd Straight to Open Season

The Buffalo Bisons managed only two hits on Friday, dropping to 0-2 on the young season, as The Herd lost to Pawtucket 9-0.

Bisons starting pitcher Dillon Gee retired 12 of the first 14 batters he faced but was roughed up in the 5th inning. Gee went four and two thirds innings with six strikeouts.

The Pawsox put up three runs in the 5th inning and five runs in the 6th inning.

The Bisons and Red Sox continue their series on Saturday. The game is slated to begin at 1:05pm.
