One day after an amazing six-run ninth-inning comeback, the Buffalo Bisons fell to the Rochester Red Wings Thursday afternoon, 8-3. Ryan Mulhern hit a three-run first-inning homer off Wings starter Francisco Liriano. But Rochester responded with five runs in the third inning, and Randy Ruiz hit a two-run blast in the seventh.
The Thruway rivals wrap up the Buffalo homestand with a Friday Night Blast at 7:35pm. The Herd then hit the road for eight games, starting Saturday in Pawtucket.
