The Buffalo Bisons fell behind Lehigh Valley 2-0 in the first inning of both ends of a doubleheader Monday night, but the outcomes were completely different. In game one, OF Bronson Sardinha homered in the third, then drove in the winning run with a single in the fourth to lead the Herd to a 3-2 win. But in game two, the IronPigs exploded for seven runs in the third inning and coasted to a 9-1 victory.
The same two teams will wrap up their series Tuesday night at Dunn Tire Park. The Herd will then take to the road for an eight-game trip starting Thursday in Columbus.
