Yankees Silence Bisons Bats

July 8, 2010 Updated Jul 8, 2010 at 3:28 PM EDT

Four Scranton-Wilkes Barre pitchers limited the Bisons to just five hits as the Yankees topped the Herd Thursday night, 3-1.

Aaron Laffey and Matt Ginter combined on a four-hitter of their own for Buffalo, but it wasn't enough as the herd lost their second straight. They'll try to even the four-game set in the series finale Friday night, with the first pitch scheduled for 7pm in Scranton.
