Syracuse got a two-run home run from Adam Lind to break an eighth-inning tie and beat the Bisons 7-5 Tuesday afternoon at Dunn Tire Park.

The Chiefs put three runs on the board in the third inning to take a 3-1 lead, but the Herd scored four in the fourth to take the lead right back. They couldn't make it last, as Syracuse tied it in the next frame, and Edward Mujica gave up what would be the game-winning homer to Lind in the eighth and took the loss.

The Herd will look for revenge Wednesday in another Dunn Tire Park matinee against Syracuse, with the first pitch again scheduled for 1:05pm.

Meanwhile, RHP Tom Mastny is heading to Cleveland. Mastny will replace the injured Joe Borowski on the Indians roster. In four appearnces, Mastny had a 6.75 ERA in 5.1 innings for the Herd this season.
