ORCHARD PARK, NY – (Bills/WKBW.com)The Buffalo Bills today announced that G Kraig Urbik (pronounced ER-bick) and G Chad Rinehart accepted their tenders and signed their contracts. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Urbik started all 13 games played in 2011 for Buffalo, including five at center. The 6-5, 324-pound Wisconsin product joined Buffalo off of waivers from Pittsburgh on September 5, 2010. He was a third-round (79th overall) draft choice of the Steelers in 2009.
Rinehart appeared in each of Buffalo’s 16 games in 2011, making 12 starts. The 6-5, 321-pound Northern Iowa product entered the NFL as a third-round (96th overall) draft choice of Washington in 2008. Rinehart was signed to the Bills’ practice squad on October 18, 2010 before being promoted to the 53-man roster on December 7th.
