BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - With free agency on the horizon, the Buffalo Bills are negotiating with one of their own. Hadley Engelhard, the agent for Leodis McKelvin, tells Eyewitness Sports Anchor Shawn Stepner that he met with the Bills on Friday to try and work out a new contract for the cornerback/special teamer.
Engelhard adds that he also anticipates talking to other teams from around the league beginning Saturday.
The NFL free agency period opens on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Teams can begin contacting pending free agents Saturday morning at midnight.
McKelvin was drafted by the Bills in the first round in 2008. He is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
