Buffalo (WKBW.com) Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson had surgery Tuesday morning in Philadelphia to fix a groin injury that had bothered him for most of the 2011 season. Johnsons' agent CJ Laboy tells Eyewitness Sports Director Jeff Russo that the surgery went "extremely well", and that the wide receiver "will be good to go in no time".
Laboy previously called the surgery "minor" and expects that Johnson will be able to take part in all of the Bills off-season activities. The BIlls first mini-camp is scheduled for late May.
Johnson signed a 5-year $36 million contract extension earlier this off-season after becoming the first receiver in Bills history to post back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons.
