George Wilson on CBA - "significant issues remain"

(WKBW.com) The Buffalo Bills were on board. The vote was 31-to-nothing with NFL Owners approving a new collective bargaining agreement on Thursday night. It's considered a big step in the lockout, but it's not over yet. Players have a say, they have a vote, and they are not ready to approve anything just yet.



Bills player representative George Wilson tells Eyewitness Sports Director Jeff Russo that players decided not to vote on, or approve the deal on Thursday night because "significant issues remain unresolved." Wilson participated in a 2-hour conference call on Thursday with player representatives from all 32 teams before it was decided that the NFLPA wants to review all the final details of the deal, and see the full language before voting.



ESPN is reporting that NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith received the finalized details that were approved by the owners on Thursday night, and expects that players will vote on Friday.
