(WKBW.com/Bills Release) The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has signed WR Ruvell Martin to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Martin re-joins the Bills after being released on August 31st. He caught seven passes for 82 yards and tied for second in special teams tackles (9) for Buffalo in 2011, after being signed to the 53-man roster on September 13th. The 6-4, 214-pound Saginaw Valley State product has totaled 72 catches for 1,088 yards and seven touchdowns in 68 games with nine starts since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with San Diego in 2004.
The Bills also placed CB Ron Brooks on Injured Reserve/Designated for Return. Under this designation, Brooks will be eligible to return to practice after being on Injured Reserve for at least six weeks. He will be eligible to return to the Active List after being on Injured Reserve for at least eight weeks.
