Greg Tranter may live in the Boston area, but his hear remains in Western New York. His collection of Buffalo Bills memorabilia is thought to be the biggest in the country!
To call Greg Tranter a "Bills Pack Rat" is an understatement. He has EVERY game program since the team started playing...yes, every single one. Add bobbleheads, posters, game balls, autographed pictures, and even a WKBW #1 "foam finger" and what you have is a collection worthy of exhibit. In fact, the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society "50th Anniversary" exhibit is centered mostly on Tranter's collection.
The exhibit at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society celebrates the Buffalo Bills 50th season. While there you can hang out in a "locker room" filled with Hall of Fame stars, call your own sportscast in a broadcast booth, and see more than 500 pieces of memorabilia.
You can tour the exhibit with Greg Tranter Saturday September 19th at 1pm, Saturday October 10th and Noon, Sunday November 8th at 1:30pm. Find out more by going to www.bechs.org.
While in Foxborough to cover the Bills-Patriots Monday Night Game, Eyewitness News' Scott MacDowell caught up with Tranter and had exclusive access to his basement full of memories!
