BUFFALO, N.Y. (January 27, 2010) --- Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced defenseman Joe Smith and forward Kyle Clancy were added to the active roster. The team also announced it has released forwards Delby Powless and AJ Shannon.
Smith, a resident of Orchard Park, NY was acquired from Boston in the 2007 dispersal draft, has donned the black and orange for the past two seasons. In 12 career games, Smith has posted 2 points (0+2), while collecting 23 loose balls.
Clancy, from Peterborough, ON was Buffalo’s first-round selection (10th overall) in the 2009 NLL Entry Draft. In 22 games with Peterborough (OLA), Clancy registered 108 points (47+61). He was one of only five players in Canada to break the 100-point plateau.
The Buffalo Bandits also announced that defenseman Clay Hill has accepted the terms of a contract and was placed on the evaluation period list (two weeks).
