Buffalo (WKBW.com) Sabres first round pick Mikhail Grigorenko is already settling in with his new team in Buffalo.
The 6-foot-3 center worked out with the Sabres on Monday, and then met with the media inside the First Niagara Center.
Grigorenko says he was "very happy" when the Sabres selected him with the 12th overall pick on Friday. Sabres Director of Amateur Scouting Kevin Devine says while there are no guarantees, Grigorenko will get every opportunity to play in the NHL this year. "We think he has the skill set to challenge for a spot".
