BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) The future of the WPS, the top professional women's soccer league in the world, is up in the air.
U.S. Soccer may not sanction the league next season.
The Western New York Flash were champions of the league in 2011. They practice in Elma at the Sahlen's Sports Complex, and play their games in Rochester.

Here is a link, provided by the Flash, to sign a petition to try and save the WPS.
