It's been quite the year for the Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander.

On Sunday, he capped his year off with nine tackles and an interception to earn Defensive MVP honors as the AFC won the Pro Bowl 20-13 over the NFC.

Signed in the offseason to fill what should have been a special teams role, the linebacker was thrown into the starting lineup and shined.

Through four weeks he led the NFL in sacks and by season's end finished third in the league with 12.5. In his nine years prior he had just nine career sacks.

Teammate Stephon Gilmore recorded the only other interception for the squad, picking off Drew Brees in the endzone in the second quarter.

Zach Brown, who led the Bills with 149 tackles, finished second behind Alexander with seven tackles in the Pro Bowl.

Defensive tackle Kyle Williams and left guard Richie Incognito also played in the Pro Bowl on Sunday.  LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor were both invited, but did not attend due to injuries.
