The Buffalo Bills are on a three-game winning streak, but that surely won't be the biggest storyline in Buffalo this weekend for their next game.

The Bills are up next against the San Francisco 49ers, who have lost four straight games and have received poor quarterback play from Blaine Gabbert. As a result, the 49ers have made a change:

Colin Kaepernick, best known this season for his protests during the playing of the national anthem, will be the starting quarterback against the Bills at New Era Field this Sunday.

49ers head coach Chip Kelly announced the move Tuesday, giving Kaepernick his first start for the team since Week Eight of the 2015 season. The quarterback has been a lightning rod that has sparked controversy and debate since he began protesting both police brutality and the oppression of black people, by way of kneeling while the anthem is being played.

The Bills (3-2) take on the 49ers (1-4) Sunday at 1:00 pm.
