Bills Take Leodis McKelvin

With the 11th overall pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills have selected CB Leodis McKelvin from Troy University. The 5-11, 190-pounder was the first defensive back selected this year.

McKelvin returned eight total kicks for touchdowns in 2007, tying the NCAA Division One record. In 12 starts at CB, he registered at career-high 60 tackles with two interceptions. For his career, mcKelvin started 25 games, with 173 tackles, one sack, five forced fumbles, and four interceptions.
