Price Is Not Right For Bills

By Jeff Russo

The second go-round for Peerless Price with the Buffalo Bills is apparently over. The veteran wide receiver was one of three players released by the team late Thursday afternoon.

Price started the first four games of the 2007 season before suffering a neck injury. He was placed on injured on October 20th, and finished the year with seven catches for 68 yards. The second round draft pick of the Bills in 1999, Price signed with the Falcons after the 2002 season, then rejoined the Bills as a free agent in 2006 .

The Bills also released linebacker Kevin Harrison and defensive back E.J. Underwood.
