Pittsford (WKBW.com) It will be one of the key positional battles to watch during the Buffalo Bills preseason debut on Thursday. The battle at strong side linebacker where it appears that Arthur Moats has jumped over veteran Kirk Morrison.

"To be quite honest with you Arthur probably has the nudge alittle bit.", said Defensive Coordinator Dave Wannstedt on Tuesday. "They will split time (in the game), but Arthur might have out performed him (Morrison) at this point of training camp. So we have real competition going on right there. How it unfolds? The games will determine that." .

Morrison, entering his 8th NFL season had been penciled in on the strong side after signing a new deal with the Bills during the offseason. Moats was a sixth round pick out James Madison in 2010. He finished 2011 with 20 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 14 games.
