PITTSFORD, NY - (WKBW) EJ Manuel's night didn't start out like he had planned. His first pass of the Bills' first scrimmage of training camp was a pick-six. Leodis McKelvin intercepted the rookie's throw, which was intended for Robert Woods, and took it back for a touchdown.

Manuel also had a ball tipped and picked off by Arthur Moats.

EJ did bounce back. He later hooked up with T.J. Graham for a TD during red zone work. It wasn't the only time Manuel would find the endzone.

QB Kevin Kolb was excused from Monday's practice to deal with a death in his family. Head Coach Doug Marrone says Kolb would have tried to play if the circumstances were different. Kolb is recovering from a minor knee injury. He stumbled on Saturday while walking on a wet, rubber mat.
