Pittsford (WKBW.com) Mario Williams foot injury sure has been a mystery, but it may not be that serious.
There were multiple reports on Tuesday night that Williams went for a second opinion on the foot. Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported that Williams made need to rest the foot but it "should be fine".
Williams has missed the first three days of practice at St. John Fisher College. The defensive end was in attendance for the first practice on Sunday night but was held out. He had been absent on Monday and Tuesday.
Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone said again on Tuesday morning that he had no new information on Williams. Marrone confirmed on Monday that Williams had left campus to have further evaluation on what the team called a "sore foot".
