BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The Buffalo Bills have come to an injury settlement agreement with linebacker Kawika Mitchell.
The Bills placed Mitchell on injured reserve due to a foot injury back in early September, and the agreement would allow Mitchell to play for another team once he is healthy.
Mitchell tweeted just before Noon Friday saying, "I hope my friends (fans) in Buffalo loved me as a player and continue to follow and support me as I move on to the next place in life. I loved my teammates and fans in Buffalo. Wish I could've made a bigger difference..."
He added, "We came to a mutual agreement. It was time. I love this game and all i want to do is play and win."
