Orchard Park, NY – (Bills Release) The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has promoted WR Kamar Aiken and signed WR Derek Hagan to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Aiken has spent the first 11 weeks of the season on the team’s Practice Squad after joining the Bills as an undrafted free agent in July. The 6-2, 213-pound Central Florida product totaled 121 catches for 1,924 yards and 17 touchdowns in his collegiate career. Aiken will continue to wear No. 88.
Hagan entered the NFL as a third-round (82nd overall) draft pick of Miami in 2006. He has spent time on the rosters of Miami (2006-08), New York Giants (2008-10) and Oakland (2011). The 6-2, 215-pound Arizona State product has played in 65 games, making seven starts and recorded 96 catches for 1,083 yards and five touchdowns. Hagan will wear No. 80.
Buffalo placed WR Donald Jones and CB Terrence McGee on Injured Reserve.
The Bills signed DB Prince Miller and re-signed G Keith Williams to the Practice Squad who replaces OL Thomas Welch.
Miller joins Buffalo after being released by Indianapolis on November 9th. The 5-9, 198-pound Georgia product entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Baltimore in 2010. He played in four games with Detroit in 2010. Miller will wear No. 44.
