September 22, 2013 Updated Sep 22, 2013 at 3:41 PM EDT

Meadowlands (WKBW) Bills safety Jairus Byrd will miss his third straight game to start the season. Byrd was among the announced inactives for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Byrd practiced throughout the week on a limited basis and was considered "questionable" heading into the game. He has been dealing with plantar fasciitis, a foot condition.

Kicker Dustin Hopkins, CB Stephon Gilmore, CB Ron Brooks, G Doug Legursky, WR Marquise Goodwin and TE Chris Gragg are also inactive for the Bills.

Eyewitness Sports Director Jeff Russo is at Metlife Stadium for the game. Sports Reporter/Anchor Shawn Stepner will have complete coverage and reaction on Eyewitness News at 11.
