ORCHARD PARK, NY(Bills - WKBW.Com) The Buffalo Bills today announced the signing of third-round draft selection (72nd overall) Alex Carrington. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.



Carrington started 42-of-44 games at Arkansas State where he totaled 146 tackles (95 solo) and 21.5 sacks. The 6-5, 284-pound defensive end tied for the Sun Belt Conference lead with 9.0 sacks in 2009, en route to All-SBC first-team accolades and being named male athlete of the year.



Carrington is the seventh of the Bills’ nine draft picks to sign with the team. First rounder C.J. Spiller, and Second round selection Torell Troup have yet to sign.
