Season Over for McKelvin, Bills Re-Sign Morrison

ORCHARD PARK, NY – (Bills Press Release/WKBW) The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has re-signed LB Kirk Morrison to the 53-man roster. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. CB Leodis McKelvin has been placed on Injured Reserve (groin).

Morrison returns to Buffalo after being released on December 3rd. The 6-2, 245-pound San Diego product joined the Bills as a free agent on August 26, 2011. He has totaled 771 tackles (580 solo), 6.0 sacks and seven interceptions with 18 passes defensed with 110 games played, making 95 starts. Morrison originally entered the NFL as a third-round (78th overall) draft choice by Oakland in 2005 and was acquired by Jacksonville via trade in 2010. He will wear No. 58.
