ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW) - The Buffalo Bills announced Friday that the team has promoted RB Jehuu Caulcrick from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
Caulcrick joined the Bills after being released from San Francisco’s practice squad on November 8. The 6-0, 260-pound Michigan State product originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in 2008 where he spent the first 16 weeks of the year on the team’s practice squad. In 2009, Caulcrick started the year on the Jets’ practice squad before being released and signing with Tampa Bay’s practice squad on December 29. Caulcrick was a three-time All-State and All-Western New York selection and was named Player of the Year by the Buffalo News and The Post-Journal during his Clymer high school career.
The Bills also announced that the team has released WR Paul Hubbard.
