ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW) - Less than a day after trading running back Marshawn Lynch, the Buffalo Bills make a move to fill his vacancy in the back field.

The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that the team has signed RB Andre Anderson to the 53-man roster after being signed to the team’s practice squad on September 21.

Anderson originally joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent on August 16, 2010 before being released prior to the regular season. Anderson rushed for 2,009 yards on 444 carries and 17 touchdowns at Tulane. The 6-0, 212-pound running back received Conference USA All-Academic Football accolades twice.

The Bills also announced that the team has released TE Joe Klopfenstein from Injured Reserve.
