ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW) -- The Buffalo Bills announced Thursday the signings of sixth-round draft selection (178th overall) Arthur Moats and seventh-round draft selection (209th overall) Levi Brown.
Moats, the Bills’ first of two sixth-round draft picks, set a James Madison school-record with 29.0 career sacks. The 6-2, 250-pound linebacker received the Buck Buchanan Award as the top defensive player in the Football Championship Subdivision in 2009.
Brown, the Bills’ first of two seventh-round draft picks, set Troy University and Sun Belt Conference single-season records in 2009, completing 321-of-504 passes for 4,254 yards with 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Brown earned SBC Player of the Year and All-SBC first-team honors in 2009.
Moats and Brown are the fourth and fifth of the Bills’ nine draft picks to sign with the team.
The Bills also announced that the team has waived DE Will Croner and OL Jorge Guerra.
