Clausen to visit Bills this weekend

South Bend, Indiana (WKBW Sports) Former Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen says he's headed to Buffalo this weekend to visit with the Bills.

Clausen worked out in front of NFL scouts and coaches on Friday in South Bend, and then told ESPN that he will be visiting One Bills Drive this weekend after he gets his surgically repaired toe rechecked in Indianapolis.

Clausen says after his stop in Orchard Park he will be flying to St. Louis to meet with the Rams, before returning to South Bend for a private workout with the Washington Redskins next Thursday.

"It's fun", Clausen told ESPN. " You get to meet a bunch of different coaches, GMs, owners, but at the same time you don't know what is going to happen."

The Bills could have some say with the 9th overall pick in the draft. With the Redskins making the trade for Donovan McNabb, some draft experts believe Clausen could be there for the Bills in the first round.
