The Buffalo Bandits have acquired a new player.

Just hours ahead of their season opener, the Bandits announced the acquisition of forward Vaughn Harris from the Calgary Roughnecks in exchange for a 5th round pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft.

Harris played in two games for the Roughnecks last season. He also played for the Six Nations Chiefs of the Major Series Lacrosse, tallying 13 goals and 14 assists in 12 playoff games.

"(He's) real fast, real quick, great kid," said Bandits General Manager Stephen Dietrich. "It's somebody we were looking at last year in the 2nd round but we weren't able to get another pick to get him. So to be able to get him a year later for a 5th round pick was a good gift for us."

The Bandits open the season against Toronto on December 8th at 7:30 p.m.
