BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Three second-period goals for the Ottawa Senators and a Kyle Turris overtime winner pushed the Sens to a 4-3 overtime win over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.
Mike Weber and Drew Stafford scored first-period goals for Buffalo.
Ottawa's Patrick Wiercioch, Chris Phillips and Turris scored in the second period.
Stafford notched his second of the game in the third period to tie the game at three.
Turris' second goal of the game came on a 4-on-3 power play with 1:06 left in the OT period.
Sabres forward Ville Leino made his season debut, returning from a hip injury. He assisted on Weber's goal.
The Sabres visit the Washington Capitals on Sunday night.
