Buffalo (WKBW.com) Marcus Foligno scored a pair of goals, and Jhonas Enroth made 32 saves as the Buffalo Sabres knocked off the New York Rangers 3-1 on Tuesday night.
The win snapped the Sabres four game losing streak. It also snapped a long drought for Enroth who picked up his first victory in goal since November of 2011. Foligno also broke out of his slump, his second period tally was his first since the game against Washington on January 27th. Thomas Vanek also scored. His 14th of the season gave the Sabres a 2-1 lead in the second period.
Derek Stepan scored a shorthanded goal for the Rangers to open the scoring in the second. The Sabres host Ottawa on Saturday.
