Sabres send six to Rochester

Buffalo (WKBW) Buffalo Sabres general manager Darcy Regier today announced the team has assigned the following players to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Matt Hackett, Brayden McNabb, Chad Ruhwedel and Mike Zigomanis. Drew Bagnall and Matt Ellis will also be assigned to Rochester, pending waivers.

The Sabres’ roster now includes 29 players: 18 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders.
