Buffalo (WKBW) The Sabres could have sat around and moped. Instead the team decided to rally. Brian Flynn and Jochen Hecht each scored a goal in a 12 second flurry to help the Sabres bounce back from a third period deficit in a 4-2 win over the Ottawa Senators on Friday.

The win was the Sabres second straight victory, and came after the team traded away three players including captain Jason Pominville before the trade deadline on Wednesday.

Luke Adam and Steve Ott also scored for the Sabres. Ryan Miller made 35 saves in the victory. Marc Methot and Eric Gryba scored for Ottawa.
The Sabres host New Jersey on Sunday.
