Sabres Nolan, Girgensons talk about Olympic experience

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The Buffalo Sabres returned to the ice Friday morning, resuming practice for the first time since the Olympic break.

Two of Buffalo's Olympic representatives were back in town in time for the skate. Head coach Ted Nolan, who served as bench boss for Team Latvia, and forward Zemgus Girgensons, who played for Nolan on the Latvian team.

The time off also gave players some time to heal. Forwards Cody McCormik and Matt Moulson were on the ice and should be ready to go Tuesday the team returns to action against Carolina.

Defenseman Tyler Myers also said he's back to full health after the break.
