BOSTON, Mass. - (WKBW) Reilly Smith's two goals helped the Boston Bruins defeat the Buffalo Sabres 4-1 on Saturday night.
Smith opened the scoring with a first period power-play goal.
The Sabres' Zemgus Girgensons tied the score late in the opening frame.
David Krejci scored in the second period. Milan Lucic added the B's third goal in the third.
Smith capped the scoring with an empty net goal late in regulation.
The Sabres went scoreless on two 5-on-3 chances and were 0-for-6 on the power play.
Jhonas Enroth stopped 35 shots for Buffalo.
The Sabres next host the Coyotes on Monday.
