Sabres Grab 5th Straight Home Win the Special Way

BUFFALO, NY - (WKBW) The Sabres got two power play goals to beat the Devils Saturday night 2-1.

Matt Moulson opened the scoring for Buffalo during a second period man advantage.

Michael Ryder 5-on-3 goal tied the game in the third period. Matt D'Agostini's power play marker about four minutes later was the eventual game-winner.

Ryan Miller made 21 saves leading the Sabres to their fifth consecutive home victory.

Cory Schneider made 20 saves for the Devils.

Buffalo defenseman Tyler Myers was called for an illegal check to the head in the third period.

The Sabres next host Carolina on Tuesday.
