BUFFALO, NY - (WKBW) Matt Stajan's overtime goal clinched a 2-1 victory for the Calgary Flames over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday afternoon.

The game was scoreless into the third period. The Sabres' Matt Moulson opened the scoring. The Flames' Paul Byron tied things a short time later. The former Sabre was set up by another ex-Sabre, Chris Butler.

Stajan's OT goal came 42 seconds into the extra period.

There were 11 penalties called over the first two periods.

The Sabres hit four goalposts in the game.

Buffalo next hosts the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday.
