Buffalo (WKBW) The waiting game for Mike Pettine will continue for at least another day. The Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator will reportedly interview with the Cleveland Browns for a third time on Thursday for the teams head coaching position. Pettine is considered a finalist. The interview is expected to take place in Cleveland.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday night that the Browns search is down to two finalists who will both meet Browns officials on Thursday. Schefter called Pettine "the favorite".
Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is also believed to still be in the mix. The Browns also met with former Tampa Bay Head Coach Greg Schiano on Wednesday but the NFL Network is reporting that he is not expected to be hired.
